When I grow up, I want to be…
As little girls, we all have big dreams about who we will be when we grow up: Singers. Pilots. Politicians. Astronauts. Usually, these dreams have names and faces: Beyonce. Amelia Earhart. Michelle Obama. Sally Ride.
Role models matter. Trailblazers give us paths to follow. But there’s something even more special about the role models who are right in front of us: Not only do they inspire us to dream big, they show us how to reach for the stars.
That’s why we’re inviting women & girls, in high school, college and beyond to explore their career dreams with Y-WE.
For: Girls, Women, and female groups in high school, college and beyond seeking career inspiration from women professionals. Female Students at Cascadia and UW Bothell are encouraged to attend.
Cost: FREE! Sliding scale donations accepted and encouraged
When: April 25th 2015, 10:30 am – 5:00 pm
