DESCRIPTION:STEM Exploration Day is an annual community tradition in which we address the gender gap in STEM by coming together to learn about and explore through educational interactive workshops and engagement with diverse women leaders in STEM. \nJoin us on Saturday\, February 11\, 11AM-4PM at the Seattle Public Library in Downtown Seattle! This event is open to the public and free to attend\, but centers young people ages 13-19. Enjoy our “Diverse Women in STEM” panel\, and participate in a variety of interactive workshops. \nThe day will begin at 11AM in the Auditorium of the library (first floor) and workshops will take place on the fourth floor. \nLunch will be provided\, please sign up here (if you are not currently enrolled in Y-WE programs)!

DESCRIPTION:What does in mean to be “in right relationship?”  A phrase originally coined by Quakers is about radically transforming both our individual behavior and social structures in a way that honors all life. This year’s Day of Wellness is going to be dedicated to exploring relationality – the relationships we have with ourselves\, with one another and to the land. Please join us in the New Year on Saturday\, January 21 11am – 4:15pm at the Young Women Empowered office for a day of community\, conversation and connection.  \nLunch is provided as well as free boba! \nThis event is open to all currently enrolled participants\, who are welcome to invite their friends as well! Friends may sign up here. Prizes will be offered to enrolled youth who bring one or more friends.
