On the last Sunday of every month, Y-WE is hosting an accountability group over Zoom for white folks to engage in conversation around how we can be anti-racist and be strong allies for the Black community. This group was created on behalf of Y-WE’s Black staff members, who requested that our white staff organize a space for white folks to get to work. We come together to discuss action steps, mistakes we have made in our journey to being anti-racist, and how we can continue the fight in the most constructive and helpful way possible.
If you have already been a part of these meetings, below you will find resources that we have discussed. If you have not yet been a part of this group and you would like to sign up to receive emails regarding future emails, click here.
Our next meeting will be on Sunday, August 30, from 12-2pm.

As Rev. angel Kyodo williams teaches “love and justice are not two. without inner change, there can be no outer change; without collective change, no change matters.”
