Perri Rhoden she/her

Y-WE Create Facilitator

Perri’s art is representative of her personal experiences, Black women, and her manifestations of feminine energy captured on canvas. Her artwork is vibrant, playful, and textured. Her creative techniques combine stylistic lines, textures, and shapes using a variety of materials including acrylic paint, color pencil, fabric, and glitter reminiscent of textile design.

She is a muralist with permanent and temporary art installations throughout the Greater Seattle area and Oregon. She is a member of Vivid Matter Collective (VMC) and painted the letter ā€œCā€ in the Black Lives Matter mural in Capitol Hill.

Her passions for community, mentoring youth, and experiences in Seattle’s non-profit sector show her dedication to preserving Seattle’s arts and culture. She has led mentorship programs and facilitated youth-focused art classes with Pratt, Urban Artworks, Teentix, DNDA, and Y-WE.

More information about her projects are on her website www.PERRIRHODEN.com.
