Savannah Smith she/her

2021 Spring Programs Facilitator

Savannah has long had a passion for animals and the environment. Growing up, her family had pets ranging from hermit crabs to peacocks! She learned early on that each living being, even within the same species, has their own unique soul and characteristics. Her curiosity led her to earning a B.S in Marine Biology. Coming from a majority minoritized community (Skyway/Renton, WA) to a predominantly white university, it was college that really transformed her ideas on what it means to uplift BIPOC communities and create inclusive and culturally relevant spaces that promote healing. From intersecting these passions, She co-founded a business called Sea Potential at the end of 2020. She is super excited to collaborate on programs with Y-WE!

Her personal interests consist of tidepooling, hiking/camping, meditating, crystals, tarot, and having deep reflective conversations with people about growth and perspective reframing.
