Y-WE’s STEAM* Day is our annual tradition in which we gather to learn from BIPOC women and gender expansive adults in STEAM! We stand in our values, addressing the gender gap in STEAM and intentionally focusing on how social justice and STEAM intersect. You will have the opportunity to build connections with folks in the industry through interactive workshops, and gain exposure to new and exciting pathways!

We’ll kick off the day with lunch and roundtable Q&A conversations with professionals such as a Marine Scientist, Astronomer, and Mechanic. Then we’ll engage in interactive workshops, including a planetarium pop-up, demonstrations on resilience hubs for natural disasters, and an exploration of careers in the arts.
