POSITION SUMMARY: Y-WE’s Program Director plays a key role in the organization. Responsible for the
strategic leadership and management of the programs team, they ensure the delivery of high-quality
programs that align with the organization’s mission and goals. They oversee all aspects of programming
and provide ongoing supervision and professional development support to staff and contracted
facilitators. The Program Director drives long-term visioning and strategic partnerships, and serves as
an advocate for Y-WE in the community. They foster a team culture of mutual support and
accountability, clear communication, and active collaboration. Balancing creative innovation with
stability, they ensure programs are responsive to evolving community needs while remaining
sustainable. They have a deep understanding of and commitment to Y-WE’s mission, consistently apply
an equity and justice lens to their work, and are a champion for BIPOC girls and gender expansive
