Y-WE Move invites youth to build practical skills for wellness and body awareness, while deepening their connection to themselves and each other. Through dance, martial arts, and other forms of physical expression, participants explore movement as both a source of joy and an act of resistance, reclaiming space, confidence, and freedom in their bodies.
Fall 2025: Trauma-Informed Self Defense
Facilitated by Joanne Factor-Strategic Living
Gain practical self defense skills while also exploring how to set safe boundaries, recognize red flags, and define what healing, self-care, and personal empowerment look like. Together, we’ll build confidence, community, and the tools to move through the world with greater awareness and strength.
