Emma graduated from the University of Washington in 2019 with a degree in Psychology and Education, Communities, and Organizations. She completed a capstone internship with Y-WE before joining our staff. Emma developed her passion for non-profit work and social justice advocacy as soon as she began college. She is inspired by Y-WE’s community of young people and the wisdom and strong leadership skills they have developed so early in life. Emma is passionate about education, health & wellness, community-building, belonging, and justice. Outside of Y-WE, Emma loves to get outside with her pup, Theo, lift weights, teach herself graphic design, host her friends for dinner, and fill her home with plants.
