Melanie Granger is the owner of South Park Hall and of We Free Hearts, an indoor play space that challenges children to learn through exploration and build positive relationships through community engagement and social interaction. After a career in the private sector and experience serving as a foster parent, Melanie shifted her focus to early childhood education. As an organizer and activist, she is passionate about community outreach and development. She has served as Vice President of Alki Elementary PTA and volunteers at Denny International Middle School as a mentor for young women of color. Melanie is co-founder of One Million Tampons and serves on a community board dedicated to empowering local business owners of South Park.
