Greetings Y-WE Community,
Y-WE has always been responsive to the needs of our community. When this pandemic started, we knew that alum and youth would need ways to feel connected. We immediately reached out to our youth, set up online programming and support networks, and extended our reach to those beyond the Puget Sound area.
We also started to connect our community to needed resources. We have been delivering meals and food boxes, and helping Y-WE youth and their families access economic, healthcare and other supports.
Now we are launching a COVID-19 Relief Fund to assist those in our communities who are struggling to address basic needs like paying rent/utilities and putting food on the table.
Y-WE will go on standing strong with our community in this uncertain time.
